Glenn Shadix (SHA-ten), the actor best known for her portrayal of a robust, unpretentious designer in the comedy "Beetlejuice," has died. He was 58. Personnel Manager Juliette Green told the AP that the Alabama native died at his home in Birmingham on Tuesday morning. Green did not immediately know the cause of death.
The sister of the actor's, Susan Gagne, told The Birmingham News, who had been using a wheelchair to move and seemed to have fallen in her kitchen and hit her head.
The actor said a memorial on Saturday in Birmingham. Shadix played in the popular Tim Burton film in 1988 as an interior designer who dabbled in Voodoo strange. There was also a voice actor in "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and appeared in dozens of television.
